Patagonia Outfitters
CEO
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1951. Business degree at UCA University in 1976. Worked in financial department at Sasetru S.A. between 1970 and 1979 as vice-financial manager. Life Passions: photography, music, fly-fishing and philosophy. Started his company Patagonia Outfitters in 1978, a fly-fishing organization in the very remote Patagonia region of Argentina (like the American West 80 years ago). Pioneered the guided fly-fishing experience when fly-fishing programs did not exist in Argentina. Became a professional fly-fishing guide, fly tyer and fly-casting instructor. Personally and single handedly turned Patagonia into an extremely famous fly-fishing destination worldwide. Led a successful campaign to stop the national government from building large dams on the rivers of the the Collon-Cura and Alumine River basins (between 1986 and 1989). Started spreading the message of liberty as a classical liberal first. Turned into a skeptical libertarian after meeting Doug Casey in 1996. Advocated for limited government until reading “The Market For Liberty” (by recommendation of Doug Casey’s); turned into a radical libertarian (AnCap) after reading it. On his own initiative he translated “The Market for Liberty” into Spanish, and accomplished its Spanish publication in 2013- 2014 (which can be found on Amazon-Kindle and else: "El Mercado Para La Libertad"). Translated into Spanish countless freedom texts from many sources and for many online sites. Present manager and initiator of various online successful freedom pages and forums on the internet. Present persistent freedom fighter, advocating for no-government within the Spanish (and English) speaking world.
